End of the Road
September 29, 2009 in General by Stephen
I have decided to stop posting to this blog. I no longer have the motivation to continue, and I’m spending more time these days using other tools like Twitter and Facebook.
It’s been a lot of fun, but 4 1/2 years is enough.
Good night, and good luck!
I am going to miss your postings. Are you sure you want to stop?
Yes, it’s time. I’ll still send you stuff!
I just couldn’t keep my blog going either. I haven’t posted in over a year. I ran out of things to say. I enjoyed yours Stephen, but like you, I’m into Facebook. Haven’t found a usefulness for Twitter yet. And I can’t remember my password for GA photos.
Noooooooooooooooooo!!!!! That is just brutal, man! You didn’t even consult with me.
Wow, glad I caught this one in GReader before you pulled the plug altogether. You’ve done a great job here, and I’ve enjoyed reading your stuff the last few years. 4 1/2 years is a long time to blog, though. I’m of the opinion that most blogs–especially the personal/pro blogs–have their own life cycle. I know I kept my own going a lot longer than I should have. With my new gig, and interest in photography now, it just didn’t seem prudent to keep going.
See you on FB, Twitter, and whatever other cool stuff comes up. I’ve been using Posterous off and on these days as well.
We’re still talking about the idea of being in GA to visit my wife’s step brother at some point. Not sure when, though. I’ll drop you a line if/when that happens. I know how to get a hold of you now. Muuhuhuhahaha.
I understand completely. Thank you for some great posts. For most of us, blogging is electronic scrapbooking. It is a meme.
